My friend Jossie Garcia posted this to facebook today and I found it spoke directly to Mom's situation:

Isaiah 43:2
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.

It's so true, and between faith and all of her friends and family we will not let her become overwhelmed or consumed.

Best of luck Mom with the new chemo regiment today, you're in all of our thoughts and prayers!

RAFFLE ALERT!!!: Elaine East-Byers has graciously donated a pair of tickets to the Guildas Motorcycle Run and Beef and Beer on September 18th, 2011. The pair of tickets is worth $50. I am doing a raffle with proceeds to be donated to the Get Your Rear in Gear Charity for BLK's Brawlers. For every $5 you donate at the link below, your name will be entered into the raffle once. Get Your Rear In Gear Walk March 20, 2011

I have created a team walking for my mother called BLK's Brawlers You are invited to join BLK's Brawlers for the 2011 Philadelphia Get Your Rear in Gear 2 mile walk. Sign up early to guarantee your shirt and goodie bag. Food and refreshments will be available.
